Incidentally, what exactly are Ibram X. Kendi’s bona fides in talking about problems in the Black Community?
What is his involvement in those issues?
He comes from an upper-middle class background in Jamaica, Queens, a predominantly Latino and Asian borough, and then Manassas, Virginia, which is predominantly White. He is a multi-millionaire and his primary audience is rich White people.
Has he been in the neighbourhoods where families have to stay away from the windows in their own homes for fear of stray bullets from drive-by shootings? Or has he spent most of his life in the academic bubble of university campuses, living in a world of theories about race?
