Understand that corporations are political institutions. They support or oppose political agendas.
As a consumer, every time you buy a product from them, you are essentially making a political donation to a political lobby.
You are financially supporting whatever political position that corporation takes, and contributing to their power to advance their agendas.
You are their constituency, but you are blindly advocating their political agenda unless you use your power as a consumer to demand that the company support your political agenda.
You have every right to do this, and you have the influence to do it, because you are their source of economic power.
There is no reason why corporations should be allowed to use the power you give them to pursue political agendas that do not reflect your will and aspirations, and certainly not to pursue agendas that directly conflict with your interests
