For the countries in the developing world (or stated more honestly, the formerly colonized world), you have the opportunity now to actually break the cycle of subordination, to some degree, and just admit that the lockdowns have been a ruse. You fell for it, with good intentions, but you fell for it. Now, you have to reject the guidelines being imposed by the West to dictate your path to economic recovery. Because, believe me, their prescriptions are only going to be designed to hamper your economic growth and stability.
Just hit “re-set” and resume normalcy, without restrictions or arbitrary precautions. Do not waste your budgets on meeting the requirements demanded by the West, but invest that money back into your own industries, your own workers, your own entrepreneurs, and start TODAY.
