#BLM as a movement is amorphous and not necessarily aligned with…

Posted on September 2, 2020 by Shahid Bolsen

#BLM as a movement is amorphous and not necessarily aligned with the stated beliefs of BLM the multi-million dollar organisation. Different chapters behave differently, and espouse different goals and use different rhetoric. All, however, are informed by #CriticalRaceTheory, and its deeply racist assumptions. Most embody the postures of the most radical, Leftist Black Liberation groups of the past. As it were, they evoke Malcolm more than Martin.

The interesting contradiction, though, is that Malcolm X, at the height of his renown, would have blisteringly condemned this movement as fraudulent; as a scam; as utterly illegitimate.

It is a movement and an organisation, sponsored by White corporate America to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. It is a movement born in Ivy League institutions, by upper class academics fully immersed in the world of White elites. It is a movement that seizes upon things that happen on streets where they do not, and would never want to live. Some individual chapters may be different, but by and large, BLM is not a grassroots movement.

If Malcolm X saw the videos we are seeing today of marches and, yes, riots, with 50%-70% White participants, he might very well tell his followers ‘They’ll come in and burn down your neighborhood and leave you in the ashes, and you think they’re helping you. The only difference between this and what they did in Tulsa, is that YOU think they’re your friends while they burn down your shops, and you are helping them instead of fighting them. Why, if anyone comes to destroy your neighborhood, you should stop them in their tracks. Run them out of town. But look at you, he throws the brick, and you run in to rob your own people, and tomorrow, he’ll be gone and you’ll still be there, if you’re not in jail. You just gave them a reason to raise insurance fees, which raises prices you have to pay. You think you are fighting the White power structure? The White power structure is subsidizing your whole movement!”
