Sociopathy, it seems to me, is widespread among the #WokeMovement. Go down a list of Sociopathic traits, and you will feel you are reading a description of the average social justice warrior. Virtue Signalling is a form of emulation, it is the charade of virtue, a gauzy veneer over the vacuous nihilism of someone who knows what virtue is, but lacks it entirely.
