Muslims, more than any other non-Jewish population, should be concerned about anti-Semitism, if for no other reason than the fact that we are concerned about Palestine. Because, if truth be told, the impetus for the state of Israel, the impetus for Zionism, was not Jewish nationhood, but horrendous anti-Jewish sentiment and violence in Europe.
The crimes of Israel, which have destabilized the Middle East for nearly a century and which are at the core of the Muslim world’s animosity towards the West, were born from the crimes of the West towards the Jews.
