One of the reliable truisms is that power always seeks consolidation and expansion, not voluntary reduction or surrender of control. So, when you see the most powerful institutions in society; in both the public and private sector; promoting Left wing rhetoric, it is because they deem this to be the most strategic approach to securing greater power — it is certainly not because they are Leftists in any meaningful sense of the term.
