It is not hard to imagine a world in which access to food is available primarily through an app or social media-type platform. Uber Eats, Grab Food, and so on. It is also easy to imagine a world in which you could be denied usage of that platform for “violating community standards”, i.e., Wrongthink. We are already seeing that companies like Twitter and Facebook have zero reluctance about using their platforms to enforce the boundaries of what they regard as acceptable opinion. It does not take much imagination to conjure up what other potential methods of coercion these types of entities might use.
