Strengthening your “core” muscles is essential for improving your performance in conflict situations. This gives you physical stability and power which will improve your overall endurance and the efficiency of your movements.
Whether fighting, running, climbing, jumping, or (Allah Forbid) being beaten, strong core muscles are the physical key to resilience and effectiveness.
Remember, strengthening your “core” means much more than trying to develop “six pack” abs, and conventional ab exercises like sit-ups and crrunches will not be efficient for building real core strength — in fact, these exercises can cause muscular imbalances in the core which may lead to injury in conflict scenarios.
