Because this proposed law has not been confirmed yet, this is a good chance to organize opposition specifically against the neoliberal agenda which is being pursued at full speed by the military regime for the sake of foreign investors.
They are saying, if the government wants to sell off your health care services, your water, your electricity, the maintenance of your infrastructure. ..and any other type of public utility, service or asset….it’s none of your business.
They call it privatization. ..or public-private partnerships (PPPs) ..but it’s exclusion of the population and larceny of public assets..
Even if investment capital comes in, revenues flow out, and corporations are concerned with short term profit, not social impact or the public good.
PPP actually stands for Plunder Plunder Plunder!
And this law will make it illegal to oppose that.
