Companies do not create wealth or growth; companies create private profit for owners and shareholders. Workers create wealth, and progressive taxation, social spending, and protectionist trade measures ensure that this wealth will create growth.
Note to Algerian revolutionaries:
The government has “identified six areas to develop, namely agriculture, industry, tourism, petrochemical industry, information and communication technologies (ICT) and renewable energies”, that means these areas will be handed over to foreign investors, so monitor these sectors.
