This is the most moral and effective option I know. It is better than slavery, better than war, and better than the futile strategies used thus far.
Unfortunately, for the past year the opposition has called upon its members to be voluntary participants in weekly crowd control training exercises for the police, and activities to help the regime assure business that it is capable of violent repression to secure their investments. That is primarily what is demonstrated at demonstrations

And in the meantime, Foreign Direct Investment has doubled, debt has multiplied, the neoliberal conquest of Egypt has accelerated and the regime has near-complete international acceptance.
In a country where the overwhelming majority of the population is anti-secular and anti-neoliberal, and largely boycotted the fake presidential election, the opposition’s ability to completely squander revolutionary momentum is breathtaking.
The opposition parties have proven themselves to be like a repairman who carries only one tool; even if it is the wrong tool, he will insist to keep trying it because he does not want you to call anyone else to fix your problem; and he does not want you to figure out how to fix it yourselves.
But you can fix it yourselves. In fact, it is the only way it can be fixed at all.
