Recently I wrote about Koch Industries, one of the primary financiers of the Cato Institute, a think tank that has actively pushed for the lifting of sanctions. One of the economic sectors Koch Industries focuses on is minerals. Apparently, the government in Sudan has “received calls from a number of Western companies and investors the US ban hampered them to engage in mining investment”
Opposition activists need to pay close attention to these developments, and begin communicating demands to multinationals who are interested in investing in Sudan, conveying to them that they will employ the strategy of “no justice IN Sudan, no profit FROM Sudan”
