A lot has been written in criticism of Jordan Peterson’s remarks on “enforced monogamy”…he posits that monogamy establishes more stable societies and tends to make men less prone to violence.
While a lot of people have berated him for this claim, no one I have read has pointed out the most obvious flaw in his theory, which is; how can you possibly know that, since, practically speaking, monogamy does not exist even in those societies that advocate it?
