Salaam everyone…I have started an FB discussion group…
This group was created to host a discussion exploring definitions of Political Islam; moving discourse from the abstract to the specific, and discovering practical approaches to Islamic reforms in governments across the Muslim world through religious, political, and socioeconomic analysis
I will be keeping this as a private group to avoid the otherwise inevitable chaos and ranting that would flood the discussion. I do not want this group to promote any particular dogmas or agendas, but to instead objectively approach the issues, hopefully only among brothers and sisters with both a genuine interest in and knowledge of the subjects discussed.
Please feel free to request membership if I do not invite you. I’m afraid at the moment, this group discussion will be predominantly in English; perhaps an Arabic version can be initiated in the future.
