Yes it is true, of course. But it mistakenly assumes that “victory” against terror was ever the objective. It wasn’t. The War on Terror was never about terror, it was a pretext for expanded security, surveillance, and control — and that is simply being repeated now.
Muslims will not be the target of this new domestic war, but it may prove even more dangerous to us because exemption from persecution requires us to ally with the Left, which inevitably erodes our commitment, understanding, and practice of our Deen.
