I really hate to even suggest this…it is so grotesque…but…in the completely lunatic logic applied here, it makes sense..
Sarin gas doesn’t devastate infrastructure. It just kills people. It is not a profit-making form of destruction. More than 100,000 people have been killed in Syria by conventional weapons…THAT’S not a red line. It killed them in conjunction with broader destruction. Start murdering the citizenry in an efficient manner which leaves roads and buildings intact…well, that is totally missing the point. Gotta get rid of THOSE weapons.
