No, we do not prefer disruption, we do not prefer to risk our own safety and cause inconvenience for our fellow citizens in order to prevent the devastating consequences of neoliberal policies. But corporate power is not elected, it is unaccountable, and there are no mechanisms available to make them respond to us.
If they were elected politicians, we would know they want votes, so hypothetically, there is a mechanism for accountability. But corporate power wants money, so we have no way to reach them except through their profitability.
