As the Summit draws nearer, it will become more important for rebels to inflict real financial losses on the multinationals and foreign investors. Remember, the companies and financiers who will be attending the Summit, will be pumping money into Egypt with the expectation of returns in profit beyond the initial capital they invest.
If they do not feel assured about the security of their capital, nor about the potential returns on their investments, obviously, they will not spend at the Summit; and their confidence in the Coup will evaporate.
It therefore falls upon the rebel to prove to the corporate imperial system, that they can, in fact, inflict serious disruption to their profitability.
The revolutionaries can prove that collaboration with the Coup is bad for business, can prove that oppression is a bad investment. Make them believe that whatever they might spend at the Summit, it will be immediately lost; no return, no profit, no compensation.
