There is no question that corporate power has the ability to control policy in any way it chooses. It is upon us to make the support for oppression a bad choice.
Corporations are not moral entities, they will support whatever brings profit, and they will oppose whatever brings loss. The organising principle of political activism in the 21st century must be to connect freedom and human rights with corporate profitability; and tyranny and oppression with financial loss.
