There is a fundamental flaw in Al-Qaeda’s theory that targeting influential figures like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet will stifle the revival of the US economy. Firstly, there is no revival. Secondly, these individuals are in fact one of the reasons there is no revival, and will be no revival. The super-rich are the malignant cancer cells in any economy; they are savage parasites sucking the blood of the economy. So, if this is their objective, it is a mistaken strategy, in my opinion.
We need to understand that these individuals, and the corporate entities they control, have no national loyalties. We use the term “multinational”, but in fact, these institutions are anti-national; they transcend nationality. The US economy is trapped in an endless cycle of crises, precisely because of these people and their corporations.
We need to recognize that corporations are not instruments that support the economy, nor support the state. They are powers in and of themselves, wreaking havoc on economies and subordinating states. They do not need to be fought because they are a channel through which we can fight the state; they need to be fought because they are the supreme powers operating in the world today
