In my opinion, it would be a mistake to believe in the humanitarian hospitality of European governments towards Muslim refugees.
The Syrian influx into the EU represents:
1.) A stream of cheap labor for demographically anemic countries which will drive down wages
2.) A potential future scapegoat population for disastrous economic policies
3.) Obviously a powerful technique to deflect the completely accurate charges against the EU of anti-Muslim sentiment, and a great tool of da’awah for them to promote themselves and their belief system as morally superior
No, the EU is not the new Yathrib; in my opinion, it is a trap
