If you find it difficult to get up in the morning for training (the best time to exercise); take a cold shower.
If you find it difficult to resist taking more food than you need, let the urge to fill your stomach become an alarm for you, telling you to stop eating.
If you are afraid of the danger of confronting power, reinterpret that fear as a command to act.
Surrendering to desires is how Shaytaan weakens you, and destroys your manhood. Make it a habit to defy your urges.
Remember above all else that you are just a slave. Stop giving yourself the choice of indulgence, the choice of laziness, the choice of passivity.
Your wealth is not yours; it belongs to your Rabb.
Your time is not yours; it belongs to your Rabb.
Your life is not yours; it belongs to your Rabb.
Your soul is not yours; it belongs to your Rabb.
Nothing is yours, you have no right to be selfish. You have no right to use what Allah gave you for your own gratification. You are a slave, treat yourself like a slave. Discipline yourself like a slave.
Our Ummah is enduring a catastrophe, we live in a time when selfishness is betrayal.
