May Allah save you all from it, but perhaps the best training school for revolutionaries is prison. You are forced to learn survival skills that will benefit you immensely in the Islamic struggle.
I advise you all, brothers and sisters, to try to develop the following abilities.
Try to become skilled at improvisation.. Learn how to use whatever is at hand as a weapon, including the weapon of distraction. The best time to take action is when your opponent’s attention is elsewhere or disoriented, even if only for a second.
Learn to exercise without equipment. Train yourself to run, roll, and fall, barefoot on hard surfaces. Build your endurance and resilience.
Practice experiencing pain and discomfort without changing your facial expression. Don’t fear pain, rather see it as a challenge to be defied.
This is what it means to be more patient than your enemy; to be capable of waiting for pain to subside instead of concentrating on the pain itself, and remaining ready to act the moment you have the opportunity.
