Developing a plan to escape prison requires very precise, detailed information. It is not really possible for anyone outside to come up with the way for prisoners to escape the facility; they can only coordinate with the prisoners and try to provide them with whatever they need in terms of tools, information, and outside support.
Every facility is different and it is up to the inmates to analyze its weak points. It may often be the case that the safest plan is to escape from another location, such as a hospital, court, or in transit from one facility to another.
For instance, my original escape plan was to create a pretext for going to the hospital. After checking with other inmates who had gone to the hospital before, I had a rough idea about the level of security, only two or three guards, and I knew the hospital’s surrounding area already, so it was quite feasible if I could guarantee transportation waiting nearby.
What prisoners need more than anything else from their brothers and sisters outside is willingness and readiness to help.
