Any opposition movement, by its very existence, is an affirmation that the people have a right to participate in the formation and policies of the government. If that opposition movement simultaneously advocates the formation of a government in which the people have no right to participate, it reveals a profound intellectual contradiction. I don’t see how any movement that suffers this degree of incoherence can possibly succeed.
