There has been a great emphasis on the “Battle of Awareness”, but I would suggest that we need to initiate a “Battle of Information”.
The key to the dramatic success of the IRA between 1917 to 1921 under Michael Collins’ strategy was their ability to gather detailed information about the British occupiers; about their facilities, their agents, their activities and movements, etc.This enabled the IRA to undertake highly targeted actions with maximum impact on the imperial system’s ability to manage the occupation.
In the same way, we need to gather detailed information about multinational corporations in Egypt and foreign investors.
To anyone who follows this page, if you work for a multinational company, know that you are potentially a vital asset to the revolution, and please consider becoming an information resource. No one is in a better position to support the cause of liberation from corporate imperialism than those who are working within the imperial apparatus itself.
You should not endanger yourself by personally undertaking overtly disruptive actions, but you can supply crucial information about the company’s facilities, operations, and plans in the country, which can be used to help revolutionaries effectively target the company to advance revolutionary demands
