Mulk Jabryy, rule by force, automatically means rule that is against the will of the people, imposed without their consent. It means rule that the people do not want, and must therefore it must be forced upon them.
Polling data indicates that roughly three-quarters of the Egyptian population want Shari’ah to be the law of the land.
Anti-Shari’ah rule, clearly, must be imposed by force.
It is not complicated to figure out, then, that democratic mechanisms are the most practical tool for promoting Shari’ah-based government
