Obviously, everyone is at a different level of fitness, so the type of training you need to do will differ depending on your general state of fitness.
The lowest level fitness test is this:
Stand up, cross your ankles, and lower yourself to the ground into a sitting position, without using your hands or knees; and then stand up in the same way.
If you can’t do this, your fitness level, frankly, is extremely poor, and not only are you in no state to be involved in conflict situations, but you are in danger of serious health problems that could very likely shorten your life.
If you can’t do it, I would suggest that you just focus on being able to do it; and if you can do it, but with difficulty, you should focus on repeating it until it becomes easy.
