Before Muslims fall all over each other competing in their condemnations of the Paris attacks, bear in mind that you are being expected to acquiesce to a blatant double standard, and by doing so, you are reinforcing the lie that the lives of the Kuffar matter more than the lives of this Ummah.
They want you to condemn the killing of innocents, while it is something they advocate, support, fund, and carry out relentlessly. They are requiring of you a magnanimous sense of humanity which they themselves ruthlessly violate on a daily basis.
Sure, we condemn the killing of innocents; we adhere to the only religion that has ever explicitly forbidden it. But you are talking to a people who wholeheartedly believe in the killing of innocents; so what can your condemnation mean to them, except an affirmation that their innocents are innocent, but our innocent are guilty and worthy of death?
Do not say “we condemn the killing of innocents, whoever they may be, and whatever religion they may follow” unless you actually do issue public condemnations every time someone is murdered on the planet earth.
No. You are manipulated to feel obliged to condemn the attacks in France, and to express sympathy for these victims specifically because they are to be treated as exceptionally unique victims, unlike all other victims of violence. And that is a fallacy. The world does not stop spinning because the blood of a kafir spills on the ground.
They kill us and they kill each other all the time. What does the condemnation of killing mean to a people addicted to killing?
