It makes no sense to restrict yourself to one particular strategy or tactic, if you are going to be restrictive about anything, it should be with regard to your targets, not your tactics.
There is nothing wrong with armed resistance. Not by Shari’ah, not by International Law, not by logic.
NATO announced very clearly that they would be prepared to respond militarily to the exact same kinds of economic domination being imposed upon Egypt, even if it were taking place deep in Africa, and far from their mandate.
They meant, of course, if “weapons of finance” and “rogue aid” were being used by entities other than their own.
But they established the principle.
If it is justified for NATO to initiate military action to oppose the advances of Chinese business influence in Africa, how can it not be justified for Egyptians to engage in armed struggle against Western corporate domination in their own country?
Multinationals are the “non-state actors” that are usurping the sovereignty of Egypt; that are plundering the country’s resources; that are controlling your food, water, and energy supplies; that are writing your laws and appointing your officials; these are the powers that have invaded your country with your own army.
But bear in mind, the security forces are just the attack dogs of corporate power; that’s who owns them, trains them, feeds them, and controls them. And attack dogs will always obey their masters. Don’t get busy with the dogs, and forget their owners. The dogs can always be replaced.
Let us be unified in our targets but diverse in our tactics; not diverse in our targets but unified in our tactics; that is a recipe for futility and defeat.
Insha’Allah, bi idhnillah, if you strike at the profitability and efficiency of the multinationals and their investments, using as many tactics as you can, you will see immediate results.
