I remember walking with the one of the “leader” of one of the Egyptian revolutionary parties here in Turkey to go pray Maghrib, and he was musing, “Maybe one day, there will be a masjid named after me!”
Beware, brothers and sisters, from opportunists and revolutionary mercenaries who want to ride the wave of your blood and sacrifice to achieve fame and prestige.
They will not lead you into any revolutionary action, but they will follow you and either disassociate themselves from the aftermath of an unsuccessful operation, or take credit for a victorious effort.
You can know their insincerity by the vagueness and shifting nature of the strategies and tactics they advocate.
