If there is a point beyond which you are not willing to go in the struggle for your liberation, you should know that power will push you to that limit as quickly as possible, because that limit marks the beginning of their security.
If you are not willing to take up arms, they will close all doors to peaceful resistance.
If you are not willing to risk your financial seccurity in the fight for your freedom, they will threaten you with poverty.
If you are not willing to risk jail in order to earn your liberation, they will threaten you with imprisonment.
If you are not willing to risk your life, they will threaten you with death.
As soon as you impose limits on what you are willing to do, and how far you are willing to go to claim your freedom, you inform your oppressors of how to subdue you.
