It is possible that the Brexit will not so much give Britain independence from Europe as it will give Europe independence form America. But I believe this is an obsolete paradigm. Policies are not made for the sake of nations anymore, they are made by, and for, the global owners of capital, who have no national loyalties. They are cannibalistic predators for whom even their families are potential prey.
