There is a strange new ijtihad which seems to believe that wreaking havoc on the lives of the Muslims; devastating their societies, plummeting their quality of life, increasing their suffering, spreading insecurity, and causing crises; are all not only permissible, but wise for jihadist strategy.
They believe that a jihad which results in a greater evil than it is undertaken to remedy, is ultimately a good thing because it will force Muslims to choose sides, and compel them to join the jihadist project; and that a new Islamic society will be built on the ashes of the societies they burn to the ground. In other words, it is actually a jihad specifically designed to cause suffering for the Muslims and to establish a greater evil than they currently endure. How this can be called “jihad”, I wish I knew.
This is a purely Satanic ijtihad, and utterly violates the fundamental concepts of the religion and the doctrine of Jihad as it has always been understood and taught by the ‘Ulema of this nation. Whoever subscribes to this disastrous school of thought is far more dangerous than the worst hypocrite.
They are like someone coming to demolish your house while promising to replace it with a palace, but he has no construction equipment and no architectural knowledge, and will not even clear away the rubble. Once he destroys your house, he will tell you his blueprint requires your neighbor’s house to be flattened as well, because the palace will be so huge. Finally, after the whole city block is in ruins, he will say, “Now your children can build here!”
They promise you the Help of Allah and His Victory, while they are busily pursuing the blood of the Believers and contradicting the most basic principles of the Deen; so how can you possibly hope for Divine support?
