There appears to be growing support for the Ghalabah Movement and the planned demonstrations on 11/11.
As the origins of this group are rather sketchy, and they appear to have the freedom to publicly promote widespread protest, along with the fact that they offer neither a detailed critique nor a plan; it is understandable that there is a good deal of skepticism about them. But people are becoming so frustrated and angry, they are willing to support them anyway.

I would just say that the Ghalabah Movement owes it to the people to begin to address the issues in greater detail, and to propose their alternatives. To blame the entire political and economic disaster of Egypt on Sisi alone is a half-truth that is just as deceptive as a complete lie.
What Sisi has done from the beginning has been to fulfill IMF demands, one by one. These demands were made to Mubarak, and to Mursi, and both accepted them in principle, and both undertook measures to gradually implement them. Sisi has simply been less gradual; he has the benefit of being a military dictator, and of being ruthless.
The focus must be on policies not personalities or parties. The policies are being dictated by the IMF and the global owners of capital, and every government so far has tried to obey them, and any subsequent government you may install after Sisi will do the same; unless you begin to focus your attention on the policies themselves.
Ghalabah needs to begin discussing the Austerity program that is stipulated by the IMF loan; they need to protest cutting subsidies, imposing VAT, protest against currency devaluation, protest against privatization and cuts to social spending. Simply telling people that the situation is bad is not what you can call “raising awareness”; everyone knows it is bad. “Raising awareness” means that you explain to people WHY the situation is bad. And then, you can begin to propose remedies to these problems; you can begin to offer policy alternatives.
If someone is not willing or able to discuss these things, I do not recommend believing in them or supporting them, because they will not deliver any substantive change whatsoever.
