The Rakhine are going to eventually realise that the Bamar ethnic ruling class are invading their state to secure control of Rakhine’s resources, and to protect themselves from the Rakhine, not to protect the Rakhine from the helpless Rohingya…but it will be too late by then.
The state will be devastated, and rebuilding will be funded by debt, which will be paid primarily by the Rakhine themselves, while the Bamar exploit the resources.
