Everyone’s thought process is many-layered. We think things before we can articulate them, and articulating them is part of the, process of how we begin to even know what we think.
Many of us opt to let others do that articulation for us. We forego the more rigorous process of organising our thoughts in favour of adopting the thoughts of others, their language, their explanations, their arguments, and so on; until eventually, there is very little left in our minds that actually grew there. At this point, we become ideologues; which is more or less the same thing as saying zombies.
