So…I have been listening to a bunch of lectures aimed at disproving the origins of Islam, the compilation of the Qur’an, the historicity of the Seerah and Hadiths, etc…and I have to say, I don’t think there is anything that could be better for strengthening one’s faith than reviewing the abysmally ignorant arguments these “historians” attempt to put forth. The intellectual gymnastics they perform avoiding evidence and explanation in order to say “there is no evidence or explanation” is just laughable.
If you listen to any of these types of lectures and find things that trouble you or make you doubt, you have not learned your religion well enough, and I urge you to research, because there is not a single argument they offer that has even an iota of merit. And I don’t mean that they can be refuted by “blind faith”, they can be refuted by blatant historical fact and modern academic standards of analysis.
