The companies controlled on behalf of foreign investors by Citadel are as follows:
Energy Sector:
Taqa Arabia
Tawazon
Egyptian Refining Company (ERC)
Mashreq
Transportation:
Nile Logistics
Africa Railways
Agrifoods:
Gozour
Wafra
Mining:
ASCOM
Cement:
ASEC Holding
Each of these companies is set to benefit from the neoliberal program in Egypt, from privatization, deregulation, and market liberalization.
Perhaps select one company in each of the five sectors, or perhaps choose the most significant sectors, like energy and transportation, possibly agrifoods, and focus on one or two in each of these sectors for disruption.
We can analyze each company for its vulnerabilities, and determine the best method for disrupting their business.
Disruption of the interests of multinationals together with the public calls for specific anti-neoliberal reforms will create a type of real confrontation with the power structure.
