As soon as your goal becomes control of the government, then you need a political party, and the goal becomes getting that party into power; then two things happen:
1. Now your ideology is dedicated to the career advancement of your leaders.
2. Your leaders become dedicated to whoever can fund their political campaigns
Basically, by trying to seize power, you lose your whole purpose.
