Can we not just acknowledge that spectrums exist within the two genders, and that this does not necessitate the invention of multiple genders? Some men are more or less masculine or feminine than others; that does not mean they are no longer men; and the same holds true of women. It seems unnecessarily judgmental to suppose that any characteristics that are not stereotypically male must therefore eject a man from the gender altogether; and that a woman possessing qualities not generally associated with femininity must now be regarded as being an entirely distinct gender. I mean, why? Can’t we just accept that there are different kinds of men and women, without escalating it to the point of defying biology? That’s a bit much.
