Having a temper is a problem. And sometimes I think it is a bigger problem when you suppress it.
My family and I ordered a Grab car back from the grocery store today, and it turned out to be a big car. You know, with the extra back seat. OK, my kids love to sit in those back seats, but as I was opening the way for them to go sit in the back, the driver said “if you use the back seats, you pay extra. You paid for a 4 seater, this is a 6 seater, and that costs more”.
Seriously? Then why don’t you ONLY accept 6 seater requests? I mean, this is the kind of thing that will set me off. If you have a 6 seater car, and you respond to 4 seater ride requests, guess what, you just gave me a discount! We are taking up exactly the same amount of space, how you gonna …ohhhhh…that just drives me nuts!
I was spending the entire ride getting angrier and angrier, and wishing I had just told him to F___ off before we even got in. With part of me wanting to tell him to just pull over and we would book another car. But I didn’t want to inconvenience my family, so I held it together. But seriously, that stuff gnaws at me
