Watching the documentary on Netflix about Henry Lee Lucas.
He had an IQ of 87.
It seems like people with lower intelligence can sometimes outperform people with higher intelligence simply because they have to activate as much of their intelligence as possible just to survive while most of us can just coast along using the bare minimum intellect required.
Is that how someone like Lucas, who was dumb as a post, could successfully fool and manipulate so many people?
