There is an identifiable connection between the number of cases of infection and fatality with the percentage of cases occurring in elderly patients. There is no reason for alarm just on the basis of the number of cases of #CoronaVirus, as the vast majority of those cases will be mild, since the vast majority of those cases will be occurring in people below the age of 60 and people without preexisting health problems.
They are using the number of cases to create panic, rather than the number of fatalities among the largest age groups in the society — which are quite low. This definitely appears to me to be a deliberate attempt to create hysteria.
