The high concentration of wealth in fewer and fewer hands, not income disparity per se, is a legitimate concern. An economy that is characterized by a small segment of elites owning an absurdly large amount of the nation’s total assets, is fundamentally unstable and unhealthy — from a purely Capitalistic perspective.
