يظنون أن الأفكار كسفينة يركبها الناس ويمكن ربطها بمرساة كما ترتبط الأفكار بصاحبها. فإذا ضاعت المرساة سبحت السفينة بعيداً. ولكنهم مخطئون فالأفكار ليست هي السفينة بل هي الأمواج التي بها تبحر السفينة .
