دول الخليج تهتم في المقام الأول بأمرين؛ أمنهم الغذائي واحتواءهم لنفوذ تركيا، وهذه الأولويات تعبر عن نفسها في كل من سوريا ومصر وذلك في صورة حرب وفوضى في الأولى وقبضة حديدية مع ديكتاتورية مستقلة في الأخيرة. أما الانعكاس الذي يسببه هذا على شعوب هذه الدول فهذا الأمر غير ذي صلة بالنسبة لهم.
