In the time of Rasulullah ï·º, the poor Muslims complained about the advantage of the wealthy…because the rich could gain more reward by using their wealth for the Sake of Allah. That tells you a lot about the Islamic attitude towards economics. Capitalism = maximization of profit Islam = maximization of reward
