The sin has made the person eligible for the punishment of Hell, but he or she may yet be forgiven; and this is left to Allah’s discretion….

Advice for sincere intellectuals: When you take a position on any given issue, before you decide conclusively that this is what you believe, try to argue in favour of the opposing view.
